L’Escargot

L’Escargot is a delightful, immaculately presented little cottage in the French countryside. Even though we feel we are in the middle of nowhere we are still not far from everything you might need. We have emergency supplies nearby as are doctors, nurses and pharmacy. Walking and cycling straight from your front door. If you are looking for peace and quiet you have found it. You will find it easy to relax and forget about your worries.
As owners we are on hand but separate.
We have had many return visitors which tells us we have obviously done something right.
Everything has been thought about. As we lived in the gite ourselves for three months we have road tested it.
Although you would assume to come for the summer and the sunshine we highly recommend spring and autumn. Spring as the countryside and the garden are at their best, lush green and an abundance of flowers. Autumn as the heat of the summer lingers but has mellowed. Cooler evenings, which makes sleeping easier but nice days good for walking, biking or lounging by the heated pool.
After a long hot summer the change in the air has a certain promise and freshness for the seasons to come.
Ever changing farmers fields make for new views.
