Private Heated Pool, Hot Tub & Garden

For many families, the outdoor space is the heart of the holiday.

The private heated swimming pool measures approximately 23ft x 13ft and is surrounded by a safety fence with lockable gate and coded padlocks, providing added peace of mind for families travelling with younger children.

Around the pool and garden you'll find plenty of space for relaxing, playing and enjoying the Vendée sunshine.

Outside you'll also have:

• Adults-only hot tub
• Enclosed garden
• Sun loungers
• South-facing terrace
• Outdoor dining area
• Chimney-style BBQ

After a day at the beach or exploring the coast, the hot tub is a lovely place for the adults to relax once the children are settled for the evening.

A Playroom Children Absolutely Love

One of Beau Rivage's biggest family features is the large dedicated indoor playroom.

Children have a proper dedicated room of their own, with plenty to entertain different ages.

Inside you'll find:

• Toddler ball pit
• Dressing-up clothes and shoes
• Toys, books and puzzles
• Train sets and building toys
• Board games
• Giant chalkboard wall
• Xbox and family games

It's particularly useful during early mornings, the hottest part of the afternoon, or whenever children want some downtime away from the pool.

For families travelling with several children - or two families holidaying together - it's one of those facilities that can make the whole holiday feel much easier.

Space for the Whole Family

Beau Rivage sleeps up to 15 guests plus babies across six bedrooms:

• 4 king bedrooms
• 1 triple bedroom
• 1 children's quad bedroom with two sets of bunk beds

There are 3 bath/shower rooms plus additional WCs, together with generous family living areas and a large dining table where everyone can eat together.

The spacious lounge provides plenty of comfortable seating, together with a 75-inch Smart TV for films, sport and family evenings.

Kitchen, Dining & BBQ

The large family kitchen is equipped for proper self-catering rather than basic holiday cooking.

You'll find:

• Full-size fridge and separate freezer
• Wine/champagne cooler
• Oven, hob and dishwasher
• Nespresso and cafetières
• Plenty of cookware, serving dishes and tableware
• Large family dining table

Outside, the shaded dining terrace and chimney-style BBQ make relaxed lunches and long summer dinners easy.

Perfect for Babies & Toddlers

Travelling with younger children is easier when you don't have to bring half the house with you.

We provide:

• Travel cots
• Highchairs
• Pushchair
• Changing mat
• Bed guards
• Night lights
• Children's crockery and cutlery
• Quality bed linen and towels
• Beds made ready for arrival

Simply arrive, unpack and start enjoying your holiday.

Beaches, Cycling & Family Days Out

The beautiful Vendée coastline is one of the biggest reasons families return to this area year after year.

Wide sandy beaches are only around 5 minutes away by car, while the surrounding area offers miles of cycling routes, water sports, nature trails and family attractions.

Days out nearby include:

• O'Gliss water park
• Indian Forest adventure park
• Atlantic Toboggan
• Puy du Fou
• Sailing and water sports
• Family cycling routes
• Coastal towns and harbours

So you can mix lazy pool and beach days with plenty of family adventures.

Walk to Village Life

Another of Beau Rivage's advantages is being able to leave the car behind.

Within walking distance you'll find:

• Bakeries for fresh bread and croissants
• Cafés and restaurants
• Weekly French markets
• Local shops and services

It's wonderfully easy to walk out for breakfast, an evening meal, a coffee or an ice cream.

★★★★★

Donna and Jay are welcoming, considerate, and professional hosts who truly go above and beyond. They oversaw so many thoughtful details that made a tremendous difference in our stay. The home itself is beautiful—open and spacious, with Italian tile floors, many windows and patio doors, and a cozy fireplace that made it feel both elegant and comfortable.
The beds and bedrooms were exceptionally comfortable and roomy, and the layout of the house—with ensuite rooms—provided the perfect balance of privacy and downtime for couples and families alike. The living and dining rooms were the great connectors, where everyone naturally gathered to share meals, watch movies, and work on puzzles together.
The kitchen was certainly the heart of the home—stocked with every pot, pan, appliance, coffee maker, and teapot imaginable. We enjoyed cooking together daily, and Donna’s attention to detail showed in everything from the quality of the cookware to the abundance of glassware and table settings (enough for forty!). During our 28-day stay, it felt like we never had to wash a dish—there was always another beautifully clean set ready to go.
We also wished we had our grandchildren along, because Donna has created an incredible children’s playroom on the first floor—complete with a bounce house, dress-up clothes, and plenty of space for fun and imagination.
The grounds opened into a beautiful yard and patio, with views of the church spire and stunning sunsets in the evening. The pool and hot tub were the perfect way to end each day.
We can’t say enough wonderful things about our stay—Donna and Jay are simply the best.

We visited Beau Rivage with our daughters and their children earlier this year- a party of 12. Our week was memorable in that the villa was spacious, comfortable and very well maintained and our every need ( and that of our grandchildren) was catered for.
The swimming pool was a highlight and was safe for young children in that it was enclosed with a lockable gate and the adjacent terrace and private garden made for a very enjoyable stay.
A short walk gave access to a very attractive village with regular markets and friendly bars and restaurants. A short walk in the opposite direction gave access to a nature reserve with excellent birdwatching- turtle doves in abundance! There was a longer walk to the beaches (half hour), but 5 minutes by car with free parking as a bonus.
The Vendee is great for a family holiday and Beau Rivage was a perfect base for us.

We just had the most amazing holiday at Beau Rivage! The villa’s 6 bedrooms provided ample space for our group and the playroom was a huge hit with the kids. We had a fantastic time and can’t recommend it enough!

Our stay at Beau Rivage in August 2022 was nothing short of a lifeline after the challenges of the past two years. The entire world felt uncertain, and planning a holiday seemed like a distant dream. However, stepping into Beau Rivage was like entering a haven of comfort and tranquility. While we may not have ventured far from Beau Rivage, we didn’t feel the need to. The pool and the delightful playroom kept everyone entertained, creating fabulous moments for our entire family, especially the kids who wore the princess dresses out on the odd time we did visit the village. Donna’s thoughtful touches, even in the face of uncertainties, made our stay not just a holiday but a rejuvenating experience. Beau Rivage became our refuge, a place where we could reconnect as a family and find solace after a tumultuous period. It was an extraordinary getaway and we left with hearts full of gratitude for the wonderful memories created in the midst of challenging times. Beau Rivage proved to be more than a holiday destination. It became a symbol of resilience, comfort and the joy that can still be found in the midst of uncertainty.

Donna’s dedication to implementing and surpassing COVID-19 precautions at the villa was evident from the start. What truly stood out was the thoughtful and comprehensive digital guidebook sent out prior to our arrival. This guidebook not only provided essential information about the villa but also made the check-in and check-out process seamlessly contactless. We could navigate through every detail, ensuring a smooth and worry-free experience. The meticulous attention to safety measures, combined with the convenience of a digital guidebook, transformed our stay into a stress-free escape. Beau Rivage not only prioritized our well-being but also showcased innovative solutions to enhance our overall experience. Donna’s commitment to creating a safe and welcoming environment shone through every aspect of our stay. The villa became a sanctuary where we could relax, unwind, and enjoy a much-needed family break with confidence. We left Beau Rivage with not only cherished memories but also a deep appreciation for the proactive approach taken to ensure our safety and well being.
