Huge, stunning indoor space - full of character and original charm. All our bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms. We have a mixture of double, twin and family rooms. This property is priced for lets of 11 bedrooms (and 10 shower rooms) Each bedroom opens directly out onto the terrace or large balcony overlooking the pool. Plenty of activities to keep the family occupied on site. An ideal place to spend a wonderful holiday.

The large lounge/dining room provides lots of comfortable space for relaxing, watching TV. One terrace has a large chess-set set out in the shade. There is an English library and a selection of board-games, a dart board and even a snooker table. The lounge has WIFI access - which is free for our guests.
There is plenty of space in the dining room for your party to eat indoors, or alternatively there are plenty of tables and chairs on the terraces, for outdoor eating. A BBQ is also provided for your use. Most of our terraces are shaded from the sunshine by UV filtering sail-shades, making the outdoor space safer and more comfortable.
In the kitchen there are two electric ovens, a gas hob, a microwave, two fridges, one freezer, washing machine, dish-washer, coffee maker, plenty of pots and pans and glassware. Ironing board, and iron and outdoor drying space are also provided

Note, when 10 bedrooms are booked this includes the full use of Le Cottage which has its own kitchen and living area - ideal if some members of your party may like a 'little peace'.
At one side of our large and ancient converted barn there are six south facing bedrooms (all with en-suite shower rooms). Then opening onto a terrace we have the 7th and 8th bedroom (again with en-suite shower rooms). There are 5 double bedrooms (1 of which has an adjoining small bedroom with bunk beds) - all the double rooms have super king-size bed. There are 3 twin bedrooms (two have an optional connecting door to one of the double rooms) there is room for a further 'Z' bed in either one of the twin rooms or one of the doubles. In the salon there is also a day bed. In front of the rooms there is a large shady terrace/balcony overlooking the heated swimming pool. Additional charges for extra beds apply.
At the other side of the barn there is a vast dining/sitting room with, at one end, a sunny breakfast room, opening onto gardens and terraces and also a games room. This barn has been carefully restored and retains its old oak beams, stonewalls and log burning stoves.
The sitting room has ¾ snooker table, dartboard along with a selection of board games and an English library. TV available in the dining room /lounge. There are plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs, so everyone should be able to find a quiet place any you will never find yourselves short of space.
Adjoining the sitting room is the well-equipped kitchen with a central island unit. The kitchen contains a washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, gas hob and two electric ovens, fridges and freezer and general electrical equipment.
Las Razes also has a table tennis table in the garden and bikes for guests to use as well as a key to the lovely local tennis court – giving guests free access to this facility (rackets and balls available to borrow).
The terraced pool area is situated at a slightly lower level and has plenty of leisure furniture. The heated 12 x 5 metre salt-water pool provides an ideal focus for your holiday. The pool is heated during the season (usually from about mid-April up to October). we have a new SPA in option if you want to relax . you can also practice yoga and massage in Las razes .
We have chickens in the one of the woods close to the house. Children (large and small) can help with egg collection and feeding if they are interested.
There is plenty of tourist information available for your to read and suggestions for places to eat and visit are kept in the dining room– and as we live in a house in the garden, we will be around to help and advise if required.
Las Razes is available for rental as a gîte for up to 22 people (20 adults max) plus baby(s) (cots and highchair available).
Las Razes can book well over 12 months in advance so even If you are at the beginning of planning your holidays - please contact us so that we can pencil you in.
Usually change over days for the gîte is Saturday occasionally we can arrange a different start day for your holiday (this can reduce flight costs). only medium season
If you would like to have somebody come in during your holiday to clean the house we can try and arrange this for you. Details available at the time of booking. We can also arrange for cakes for special celebrations and for a chef to come and prepare meal(s) for you.
Each property enjoys privacy and space. We can be found if you have a problem during your stay but are far enough away to leave you in perfect peace.

After the village of Touffailles, travelling in the direction of Montaigu de Quercy - passing the sign showing the end of the village we are the second turning on the right hand side. Approx 1km from the vilalge.
Las Razes is situated close to the tiny village of Touffailles, which has a small shop, boulangerie, fishing pond, children's play area and tennis court. The village is situated in one of many beautiful valleys in this area - with an abundance of oak woods and fruit and flower growing. The area is famous for its production of melons, plums, nectarines, grapes, sunflowers and cherries.
The medieval villages of Lauzerte (often referred to as the Toledo of Quercy) and Montaigu de Quercy (site of 12th century castle and with lovely bathing lake/water sports) are both about 8km away and offer delightful places to visit along with a range of local services and restaurants/bars and local markets.
Montcuq with its famous 12th century tower, exquisite bathing lake and colourful Sunday market is about 14km away, whilst Cahor and the surrounding vineyards make a lovely day trip. Moissac, a bustling town with lively weekend markets and famous Abbey and Cloisters are about 20 minutes drive away. Other places worth a visit include Penne and Tournon D’Agenais, Agen, Montauban, Villeneuve-sur-Lot, Puy-L’Eveque, the caves at Pech Merle and St. Cirq Lapopie.
