Les Lavandes is one of 2 beautiful gites in the grounds of La Greze. La Greze is located just outside the beautiful old village of Castelnau de Montmiral in the Tarn.
La Greze is a perfect base from which to explore the local bastide villages. Each one is different, with its own character & history, its own bars & restaurants where you can sample the excellent local cuisine and wines. Through the summer there are many activities in and around the towns & villages including jazz festivals, classical music & rock concerts, markets & fairs. For the more energetic, the Fôret de Grésigne, full of rare birds, deer and wild boar, offers fabulous walks, cycle tracks and stunning views.
Gaillac is famed for its excellent wines. There are numerous small independent vineyards, all producing they're own wines. Many of the vineyards offer free tasting and during the summer many hold 'Apero Concerts' where there is live music, food and a chance to spend the evening enjoying the vineyards wine.
Each Gite is fully equipped with everything you could need, with it's own patio area. There is a washing machine and large freezer in the barn for guests to use.
Both gites can be connected to accommodate up to 4 people
