About This Property
Cap del Bosc is a detached three-bedroom stone cottage set in approximately five acres of private grounds in the Lot Valley. It sits in rolling countryside, between Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Agen, with the ancient market town of Laroque-Timbaut five minutes away by car.
The largely open-plan ground floor has a dining area with a wood burner, a well-equipped kitchen with gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge-freezer. The sitting room has two three seater sofas, two bucket armchairs, an open fireplace and Freesat TV. Two double bedrooms are on the ground floor, together with a bathroom with bath, shower and basin. There are two separate WCs, both on the ground floor. A mezzanine with seating, TV, games and books, leads to the third bedroom in the eaves, which has a double and single bed.
Outside are sunny terraces on both sides of the cottage and a covered dining terrace. The private kidney-shaped pool is normally open from June to September, weather permitting, it has wide integral steps, and shallow and deep swimming areas. Swimming towels, loungers, parasols and pool toys are provided.
Guests can explore nearby bastide villages including Pujols-le-Haut and Penne-d'Agenais, while Villeneuve-sur-Lot and Agen, the capital of Lot-et-Garonne, are both around 20 minutes drive away.
