Over the years, we've watched the holiday rental industry change dramatically. Large corporations have introduced booking fees, service charges, and increasingly complex rules that frustrate both guests and owners alike. We've stayed true to our original vision: keeping things simple, personal, and fair.

In 2025, we embarked on an ambitious project to completely rebuild Gites.co.uk from the ground up. We've kept everything that made the original site work - the direct owner contact, the no-fees approach, the personal service - while adding modern features that make finding your perfect French holiday easier than ever.

Our new site includes intelligent search, an AI-powered assistant that can help answer your questions about properties and regions, and tools that make managing listings simpler for owners. We've invested in technology not to create barriers, but to remove them.
