Les Rossignols

The cottage was totally delightful and it was like coming home. The house itself was immaculate and was equipped with everything you could possibly want. It was comfortable, welcoming and so pretty.
There are three lovely bedrooms wth a master bedroom to die for. The beds were so comfortable and plenty of storage. There are two fabulous bathrooms with large showers and one with a luxurious bath
My dogs were made as welcome as we were and they also had a fantastic week. Everything was provided for them too with lovely , safe walks from the door!
The garden was perfect for us all too. It was totally private, so peaceful and with lovely views. Nature abounds here and is a perfect spot for bird watching.
The garden is full of flowers, plants and trees providing different places to sit and relax.
The scent and colour is stunning. There is plenty of garden furniture and clean cushions provided for every new guest! And of course, the gorgeous private pool!
The lounge is cosy and comfortable with a stocked wood burner for those chilly evenings. Here also, you will find doors opening out to the delightful terrace.
Sarah welcomed us warmly and as there for anything else you may possibly need, and she and Steve are perfect hosts. They left homemade preserves , produce from the garden and a welcome bottle of wine and treats for the dogs too!
If you can tear yourself away, there are wonderful places to visit nearby and a wealth of history including chateaux and gardens.
This is a perfect location to totally relax , get away from everything, be close to nature and be completely comfortable . Sarah and Steve have worked so hard on this special place and go that extra mile for their guests. Thank you both.
An absolute gem!

Quite frankly we couldn’t find anything to fault with this wonderful Gite hosted by Sarah and Steve who were the perfect hosts. The Gite is so well equipped in every way and it was everything we wanted and ticked all the boxes. We just loved our time here - the weather was perfect and the surroundings so quiet and peaceful. The Gite has everything you could wish for and the‘ “welcome “ box of fresh veggies from the garden were very well received. How thoughtful. We loved every minute of our stay and were sorry to leave. Thanks Sarah and Steve for making our holiday so enjoyable!

This was our first visit and we were very impressed. The cottage is very well appointed and the kitchen was well equipped with more than we needed. The garden was perfect for our 2 energetic dogs, nice and enclosed but plenty of area to run around in, they loved it. The location was ideal, nice and quite but only a few minutes drive from the nearest town, Chateaumeillant, which had a lovely Boulangerie and a large supermarket. The lovely hosts, Sarah & Steve, lived next door and were very helpful with anything we needed. We hope to be back soon!
