Welcome to Les Platanes, our beloved 300 m² family home nestled in the charming village of Salelles d'Aude. This fully independent mansion comfortably accommodates up to nine guests across five generously proportioned bedrooms, making it the perfect retreat for families or groups seeking an authentic Languedoc escape.

The heart of our home is its expansive outdoor living space—a sun-soaked courtyard, anchored by a spacious patio that overlooks our beautiful 8 x 5 metre kidney-shaped swimming pool (1.30 metres deep). With its integrated fall detection alarm and easy step access, the pool is both safe and inviting. The barbecue setup with plancha grill ensures memorable al fresco dining throughout your stay.

Upstairs, discover four gracious bedrooms: one with a 180 cm bed, two with 160 cm beds, and one with two single 90 cm beds, all benefiting from air conditioning. A large family bathroom with double sink, bathtub, shower and separate WC completes this level. The ground floor features a characterful library bedroom (100 cm bed) with adjoining shower room and WC—both fully accessible for guests with reduced mobility. Our well-appointed kitchen flows into a splendid 50 m² living-dining room with comfortable seating, entertainment and WiFi connectivity.

Surrounded by protective stone walls and peaceful vineyard views to the south, Les Platanes offers the ultimate sense of seclusion. The front courtyard, accessed via automatic gates and framed by magnificent plane trees, feels like a private oasis. Wheelchair users will find the ground floor, patio, gardens and pool entirely accessible. A selection of fitness equipment is available, plus optional burglar alarm.

Your location is enviable: just 20 minutes to Narbonne's cultural treasures, 30 minutes to Gruissan's Mediterranean beaches, and wonderfully positioned between the romantic Canal du Midi and Canal de la Robine.
