Las Cabanes is a spacious family friendly self catering property and cozy cottage sleeping 15 in 7 bedrooms plus 4 babies in cots. Private 10 x 5 m pool with shallow steps and extensive gardens and grounds all for your exclusive enjoyment in an easily accessible part of SW France. Solar cover to heat the pool.
Air con in all bedrooms and the studio cottage. What makes us unique is the fabulous setting, the whole place to yourselves, large private pool with roman steps for the little ones to paddle, great views and able to comfortably accommodate and entertain a large group of 15 plus 4 babies with a vast array of baby, toddler and child equipment provided. In addition, the cozy studio cottage included in the rental is very popular with grandparents or others wanting a little quiet space slightly separate but still very much part of the main group. Children love to feed and pet the friendly animals and egg collecting too. With grounds designed for outdoor living and sociable spaces like the summer kitchen and multiple large terraces with comfy seating you can truly relax and enjoy precious time together. There's grassy areas for ball games and outdoor play areas too. With 23 years experience, offering baby and family friendly holidays you are in safe hands.

A 10-minute cycle ride (bikes provided!) finds the pretty village of Le Temple-Sur-Lot with riverside walk, restaurants, grocery shop, organic shop, ornamental gardens to visit and access to the River Lot. Slightly further are the larger villages of Castelmoron and Sainte Livrade both with the full range of amenities.

Locally there is so much to explore from beautiful villages like Pujols and Monflanquin, many bustling markets including Eymet, Praysass and Villeneuve-sur-Lot, great food and wine at local restaurants, cafés, boulangeries and vineyards , river based activities at places like Castelmoron, Buzet, Nerac and Villeneuve Sur Lot, vibrant cities like Bordeaux, Toulouse and Agen and much more. If you fancy some pampering there are spa treatments available locally. Check out our website or youtube channel for lot's more information on this fabulous area.

For children there are varied local activities to keep them entertained including, children's farms, tree top adventure parks, theme parks and much more. We also have chickens and guinea pigs on site for little ones to feed and collect their eggs.

The charming characterful and spacious property is situated 50-metres back from a very quiet country lane in a picturesque private valley with no through traffic and panoramic views across meadows, fields, vines and orchards.

The property retains all its rustic charm with exposed beams, terracotta or wooden floors and exposed stonework but has all the mod cons and facilities you need for a family holiday.

The main house has 6 bedrooms and the cozy studio cottage has an additional bedroom, all on the cooler ground floor, and 5 bathrooms, of which one has a bath tub, whilst the others have showers. Thick stone walls and terraces ensure the property stays cool year round.

The studio cottage is detached from the main house with aircon, but only 15m away, with its own private garden and is a real hit with grandparents or anyone wanting a little space and privacy from the main group.

The Farmhouse is entered via a vine covered terrace into the rustic country kitchen with exposed beams and terracotta floors and plenty of storage space for essential supplies. The Kitchen is well equipped with stainless steel 5-ring gas cooking range, Bosch dish washer, washing machine, 2 large fridge freezers, microwave, coffee maker, cookery books, table and chairs.

There's a huge comfortable lounge and entertainment area to the first floor with leather sofa seating UK freeview TV, DVD and a range of books, games and toys for all ages as well as additional dining facilities and full size pool table and table football for friendly competitions!

The accommodation is adjacent to the pool terrace with access to the large, 10x5m private alarmed solar heated pool, multiple sun terraces and children’s play area with swings, slides, play house, ride ons etc.

There are extensive mature gardens and lawns for ball games, several sunny and shaded seating areas, a covered barn summer kitchen/dining area and both gas and traditional barbecues.

The owners provide bikes and outdoor play equipment for all ages. And all of this is for your exclusive use.

Behind the owners accommodation there is a chicken coop where guests are welcome to come and feed the chickens or collect their eggs. We also have guinea pigs to feed and handle.

The owners Julie and Steve live discreetly on site, helpful and on hand when needed but otherwise largely invisible so you can truly relax and enjoy the whole space.

The bedrooms consist of:
2 rooms with king size beds,1 family room with king size bed and bunk beds,1 twin room with two singles, 1 single room, 1 room with bunk beds, 1 double bed in the cozy studio cottage with lounge/kitchen/dining area and en-suite shower room.
All the master bedrooms and the studio have their own french doors leading onto terraces.
All the bedrooms are equipped with fans.
