La Petite Maison offers a peaceful Alpine retreat in the heart of Haute-Savoie, just 40 minutes from Geneva Airport. This charming three-storey house sleeps up to four guests across two comfortable bedrooms, perfectly positioned at 700m altitude beside the River Giffre.
The accommodation features a spacious first-floor living area with open-plan kitchen, two well-appointed bedrooms (one double, one twin), and a modern ground-floor bathroom. Enjoy mountain views towards the Marcelly peak from your living room, whilst practical amenities including WiFi, Smart TV, and central heating ensure year-round comfort.
Adventure awaits on your doorstep with walking and mountain biking trails directly accessible from the property. Three major ski resorts—Portes du Soleil, Grand Massif, and Praz de Lys—lie within 20 minutes' drive, offering over 1,000km of pistes. The location is also renowned for paragliding, with world-cup competitions held locally. Relax in the shared garden with BBQ facilities after exploring nearby attractions including the Pont du Diable canyon. Shops and restaurants are just 2km away, with a bus stop 600m from the house.

### Check-out Instructions
At the end of your stay, we kindly ask you to:
- Leave the accommodation clean, tidy and swept.
- Wash, dry and put away all dishes, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
- Strip the beds and place all bed linen, towels and other used laundry in the hallway.
- Leave the dishwasher and refrigerator clean and empty.
- Take all remaining food with you. Please do not leave any food in the cupboards, refrigerator or freezer.
- Empty all waste bins and dispose of the rubbish according to the waste separation instructions below.
- Inform us of any breakages or damage that may have occurred during your stay.
### Waste Separation and Recycling
To help us protect our beautiful natural surroundings, we kindly ask you to separate your waste as follows:
**Organic Waste (Food Scraps)**
A stainless steel container is provided on the kitchen counter for organic waste. When full, please empty it into the green compost bin next to the mazot (shed).
**Paper and Packaging**
A separate bin is provided for paper and recyclable household packaging. Please take this waste to the recycling collection point near the bridge by the river before departure.
**Glass**
Glass bottles and jars can also be disposed of at the recycling collection point near the bridge by the river.
**General Household Waste**
A separate bin is provided for non-recyclable household waste. Please empty this bin at the waste collection point near the bridge by the river before departure.

We beleefden een fantastische week in La Petite Maison in Mieussy! Het huisje is super gezellig en cosy ingericht, met een fijne zithoek, een complete keuken en beneden een prima slaapkamer met een heerlijk bed. De badkamer is klein, maar praktisch. Enkel de waterstraal van de douche mocht voor ons wat krachtiger zijn. Boven is er nog een tweede slaapkamer, maar die hebben wij niet gebruikt.
Wij hadden de hele week temperaturen boven de 30°C, waardoor het overdag behoorlijk warm werd in het huisje. Gelukkig koelde het ’s nachts goed af wanneer we de ramen openlieten, waardoor we de slaapkamer beneden lekker fris konden houden.
De tuin en de omgeving zijn echt fantastisch. Het uitzicht is adembenemend en de ligging is ideaal als uitvalsbasis voor allerlei leuke uitstappen. Wij hebben onder andere genoten van Les Carroz, met de mountaincarts, de kabellift, de rodelbaan en de vele mooie wandelingen door Le Grand Massif. Ook het meer van Annecy is absoluut een aanrader: heerlijk zwemmen en fietsen rond het meer. Daarnaast gingen we naar Lac Bleu in Morillon, waar je kan zwemmen, het hoogteparcours doen en plezier maken in het drijvende waterpark (al was het water wel héél koud 😉).
Kortom: La Petite Maison is een heerlijke plek om te genieten van de rust, de natuur en tegelijk volop uitstappen te maken. Wij hebben er een fantastische week gehad en zouden zeker terugkomen!
Heerlijke week gehad bij residance Caro, le petit maison. Prachtige omgeving, veel mogelijkheden om te klimmen en te wandelen. Voor de verkoeling een beekje achter het huis.
Het huisje, le petit maison, was ook heel goed voor elkaar. De koele slaapkamer was top.

Ontzettend genoten van twee heerlijke weken bij residence Caro. Het appartement is ruim, mooi en van alle gemakken voorzien. Onze kinderen hebben heel lekker in de achtertuin gespeeld en iedere dag wel even steentjes gezocht bij de revier. De omgeving is prachtig. Vanuit de achtertuin starten vele mooie wandel en mountainbike routes. In de buurt zijn er ook heel veel leuke uitstapjes te doen. Bart en Dami zijn ook hele fijne attente hosts. Ik raad deze plek van harte aan!
