Le Moulin

Le Moulin is an 18th century stone cottage situated in a rural but not totally isolated setting. It was previously a mill and the steam still flows through the garden. There are four bedrooms (two king sized beds, one double and one twin room). There is a bathroom with shower and a separate shower room upstairs and two WCs - one upstairs and one downstairs. There's a well-equipped kitchen, a dining room and a living room with stone walls and large oak beams.
Outside there is a dining table and BBQ and various seating areas in sun and shade. The swimming pool is heated and the pool deck is equipped with loungers and parasols.
There are various places of interest nearby including the Marais Poitevin (sometimes known as the "Green Venice"), La Rochelle, Futuroscope (a theme park near Poitiers) and the Vallee des Singes which is a wildlife park in which monkeys and lemurs run free.
If you like waking in the morning to birdsong, and spending the evening sitting outside under stary skies watching bats and and listening to owls, the Moulin will appeal to you.
