Château de Champagnat

Bring family and friends together at Château de Champagnat, a peaceful historic estate near Vichy in the Auvergne. This stay includes both La Lodge and Le Pigeonnier, two independent holiday homes rated Meublé de Tourisme 4*, arranged around the château courtyard, rented together for up to ten guests. You can spend time together by the pool and in the grounds, while enjoying the space and privacy of two separate homes.

The owners live in their own private apartment on site. They respect guests’ privacy and are on hand for help or local information. You may see them around the grounds carrying out gardening and pool maintenance.

La Lodge — sleeps eight

La Lodge has four bedrooms: three doubles and one twin, with two bathrooms. A ramp leads to the entrance, and the ground-floor double bedroom and accessible bathroom offer step-free facilities downstairs. The other bedrooms are upstairs.

The light living and dining area has a television, and the fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, hob, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. There is also a washing machine, tumble dryer and dedicated work area. Outdoor meals can be enjoyed beneath the pergola, with a plancha for cooking outside.

Two travel cots, a high chair and a removable shower chair are available.

Le Pigeonnier — sleeps two

The separate tower home provides a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room, a lounge with television and breakfast bar, and a kitchenette with hob, fridge, dishwasher, combination oven and coffee machine. Its rooftop terrace offers a spot for morning coffee or an evening meal, with a plancha available.

Please note the access: Le Pigeonnier is reached by external stone steps, and an internal spiral staircase leads to the bedroom. The tower is not suitable for children or guests with reduced mobility. Families can use the bedrooms in La Lodge, with the tower suited to adults comfortable with stairs.

Your pool, parkland and time together

When the two homes are rented together, your group enjoys full use of the outdoor pool and park.

The pool is shared with the owners, who only use it when guests are out or are not using it. Guests have priority, and the owners do not use the pool at the same time as guests.

The pool is normally available from June to September, depending on the weather. Stroll or picnic among the trees, relax in the courtyard, or enjoy outdoor meals together.

The jacuzzi is in the conservatory overlooking the pool and gardens. Private sessions are available by appointment during your stay.

Both homes have WiFi, air conditioning and heating, with parking on site. Together they provide five bedrooms and three bathrooms for up to ten guests. The accommodation comprises La Lodge and Le Pigeonnier on the estate; the main château residence is not included.
