La Maison aux Alazards

La Maison aux Alazards is a traditional stone house sitting in a large garden on the foothills of Mont Ventoux, near the hamlet of Les Alazards in the commune of Beaumont du Ventoux. The house sleeps up to eight people across four bedrooms.

Downstairs you'll find a twin bedroom with an annexed shower room and direct terrace access — the ground floor is suitable for people with reduced mobility. Upstairs are three more bedrooms: one double with en-suite shower room, and two twins, plus a family bathroom. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, washing machine and microwave, and there's a comfortable lounge for eight. Outside there's a shady terrace, a 10-metre swimming pool, and parking for two or three cars.

Beaumont du Ventoux is a peaceful agricultural community on the edge of the forest. The GR walking route is on your doorstep, and Malaucène, six kilometres away, has bike hire shops — this is serious cycling country. The area is known for its Roman remains, lavender fields, and the dominating presence of Mont Ventoux itself. Malaucène has a Wednesday market, and Vaison-la-Romaine with its Roman bridge and amphitheatre is 12 kilometres away.
