Description

Our renovated farm is located at the end of a lane, is south facing and surrounded by 5 acres of our private gardens, fields and forests. There is an orchard to the west (with a sunset/dining point with views across the valley to the Dordogne), meadow and forest to the north and gardens and meadows to the south. We also have a number of small forest parcels in the surrounding forests which our guests are welcome to access via the many grassy lanes. The tarmac ends at our farm and becomes a bridleway so the only traffic is from the ocasional walker, mountain biker or horse rider etc. These bridleways connect to numerous others of course, so direct access to literally hundreds of kilometres of forest trails around the area is right on your doorstep, making this an ideal location for hikers, joggers, cyclists, horse riders, & wildlife spotting, (maps, tourist guides & advice are freely available to guests at the farm). Camping a la farm can also be arranged (exclusively for those booking a gite), so larger groups can be accommodated for.

MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to five (5)
persons.
MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a five (5) night minimum stay during peak holiday periods
Towels and bed linens are included but should not be removed from the property.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS – Guests should be aware that as a farm and very rural environment, neighbours, the neighbouring farms, animals, fences and rights of way should be respected at all times. Anti social behavior will result in eviction and forfeit of security deposit.


DISCLAIMER – The renter assumes no responsibility for illness or injury that may incur to guests while on the premises. The property is a converted farm in a very rural environment and due care and attention should be exercised by guests.
PAYMENT -
Full payment is made at time of booking via bank transfer and includes a 150 GBP refundable security deposit. Cash on arrival can sometimes be arranged but only in certain instances.

CANCELLATIONS –
A twenty one (21) day notice is required for cancellations, cancellations after 21 days forfeit rental payment but not security deposit.
Cancellations that are made more than 21 days prior to the arrival date incur no penalty.

SECURITY DEPOSIT -
The deposit is not applied toward rent; but, is fully refundable within (21) days of departure,
provided the following provisions are met.
•No damage is done to property or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
•No charges are incurred due to illegal activity, pets or collection of rents or
services rendered during the stay.
•The property is left in a clean condition as found.
•All keys are returned.
•Any charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.
•No linens are lost or damaged.
•No early arrival or late departure.
•The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner) or the
local law enforcement.
