There are 2 double bedrooms with super king size beds, each having ensuite facilities. A single bed can be put in one of the bedrooms thereby comfortably accommodating 5 people.
The nearest village of Laurenan is just over 1km from the property. Here there is a boulangerie and a bar and restaurant. A little further away, 10 minutes drive, is the town of Plemet with 3 restaurants, bars and a supermarket.
Loudeac, 20km from the property, is a larger commercial centre and all facilities can be found here including shops and restaurants.
The northern coast of Brittany, including the lovely beaches at Morieux, Binic and Pleneuf-val-Andre are both less than 1 hours drive from La Musse.
DETAILS OF THE HOUSE AND GARDEN
The stunning property is entered by large French windows giving an immediate feeling of light and space. These windows can all fold back so that the garden and kitchen merge into one beautiful eating/ seating space!
The beautiful kitchen has views directly towards the garden and there is seating for 6 people at the dining table. Kitchen equipment includes an electric oven with gas hob, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer with ice maker, microwave, cafetiere, kettle and toaster. There is also a small “table top” oven.
The washing machine is also housed in the kitchen and is discreetly placed next to the dishwasher behind a door facade.
Through the kitchen area is the “cosy” sitting room. The focal point of this room is the wood burner which, in conjunction with full central heating, makes the property suitable for letting all year round.
The TV, with UK channels, is projected directly on to a large screen when required which means when not viewing, it is completely unobtrusive.
WiFi is available throughout the property.
Also on the Ground Floor is a WC and washbasin.

A lovely, large size bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with shower cubicle and WC. All furnishings and bed linen are of superior quality. A single bed is also available in the room.
Bedroom 2 - sleeps 2 (Super King Size Bed – ensuite bathroom)
Another lovely large bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, this time with a “claw foot” style bath tub. Again all fixtures and fitting are of superior quality.
Outside the gite is the large garden (not secured).
There is an outdoor table, ideal for al fresco dining, with chairs and a parasol.
The beautiful oak tree in the corner of the garden provides a lovely shady spot in the warmer months. A BBQ is provided.
Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement. Please check at time of booking. A Pet Fee of £10 per week is applied.

Guests are asked to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition. Failure to do so may result in some or all of the Security Deposit (£250) being withheld.
A short drive away is the lovely lake at Landrouet. Water sports and fishing are popular activities here. In the summer months music festivals are held.
There are many picturesque towns in this part of Brittany.
Josselin, 27kms away, a French “Petite Cite de Caractere”,on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal, where there is a perfectly preserved medieval chateau which is inhabited by the Duke and Duchess Rohan.
The chateau and adjacent Dolls' Museum are open to visitors from April to October and there are tours in English daily during the summer.
Moncontour, 26k away, is another “Petite Cite de Caractere”. Well worth a visit with its cobbled streets and fortress high above the town.
Malestroit, 54k away is a pretty market town with regular concerts held in the cobbled square during summer.
The Nantes-Brest canal runs through the town and is flanked by paths for walking and cycling, with boating for miles in both directions.
On the outskirts of Malestroit is the Musée de la Résistance de Bretagne'
This fascinating museum chronicles the vital role played by the people of Brittany at the time of the German Occupation during the second World War.
La Cheze, 16k away, is a pretty village, the focal point being the lake. Here concerts are held in the summer and also “Vide Greniers” (Car Boot Sales).
The Forest of Broceliande and the town of Paimpont are about 40k from the property. This area offers lovely walking and a fascinating insight into the legends of King Arthur. The Bretons claim this area as the origin of the famous Knights of the Round Table!
Lac au Ducs, Ploermel, 45k from the house
A popular lake with a sandy beach, watersports and bars and restaurants. Also during the summer there are numerous varieties of hydrangeas on display.
Brittany offers a wealth of varied landscapes - beautiful sandy beaches, deep forests and medieval towns.
It is easily accessible from the UK via several Ferry Ports and is also served by flights from the UK to 4 French airports.
From spectacular beaches with rugged coastlines to vast sandy expanses, to peaceful woods and forests and the famous Nantes-Brest Canal, Brittany has all the makings of a perfect holiday.
The cuisine in the area includes crepes and galettes and of course the seafood! Mussels and oysters are available throughout the region, particularly in the summer months. Cider is produced here and local varieties are available in all supermarkets and restaurants.
During the summer numerous villages and town celebrate the "Pardon" which is predominantly a religious thanksgiving but is always followed by a celebratory meal (with a drink or two!) and Breton dancing.
