Maison Jervis is perfect for a peaceful,relaxing holiday. The accommodation is available all year round. Pets are welcome but please enquire when booking.
Maximum 2 dogs. Cleaning fee is charged, £10 per pet, per week. Dogs are not allowed upstairs and must not be left alone in the cottage unless owner has given permission.
The property has a spacious feel both inside and outside. It has been superbly renovated yet offers many modern touches to provide a comfortable base for your Brittany holiday.
Kitchen and dining
The fully equipped modern kitchen has a cooker with gas hob and electric oven. There are two fridges and one freezer. Also a toaster, microwave and kettle. The large dining table comfortably seats six. A small utility area adjoins the kitchen and houses a wc and washing machine, clothes airer and iron.
There is a childs wooden highchair and stairgate.
The living room is elegantly furnished with two large Duresta luxury sofas and one "gentlemans chair" The flat screen tv receives UK channels. A dvd player is available with a wide choice of films. A logburner is provided for the cooler evenings. A small surcharge applies to logs and use of electric heating in the winter months.
Free WiFi is available.
The main bedroom has a king size double bed. There is a dressing table and a hair dryer is provided. Also a wardrobe and leather chair and " Mamas & Papas" travel cot.
Bedroom 2 has 2 wooden base singles, with one matching xl single, and one pullout, chest of drawers with hairdryer,and clothes hanging rail. Bedlinen and bath towels are included. Pool towlels are not provided.
Both bedrooms have en suite bathroom with wc, hand basin and shower. There is a double shower in the master bedroom ensuite.
Electric heating is available and also a logburner for the cooler months.
Dvds, books and games for all ages. Adult and childrens croquet. Plastic building bricks, dvds for all ages.
Garden and outside
Beautiful gardens over looking the rolling countryside, perfect for a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Totally private in well set out gardens front and back, with swings and fenced pond. Love seat, two loungers, two reclining arm chairs (allibert), wooden table and benches for outdoor dining. Large brick BBQ.

The property is not suitable for guests with impaired mobility.
A small "welcome pack" is provided, including wine, milk, tea and coffee and kitchen essentials.
A discount is offered on Brittany Ferries crossings.

Walking - Various walks including extensive walking along the pretty Nantes-Brest canal
During the summer numerous villages and town celebrate the "Pardon" which is predominantly a religious thanksgiving but is always followed by a celebratory meal (with a drink or two!) and Breton dancing.
Great for the beach, restaurants and visting local "menhirs" (ancient stones, also a great Sunday market!)
A French " petite cite de caractere" on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal. There is a stunning chateau and puppet museum as well as numerous restaurants. Each July Josselin is home to a Medieval Festival.
Within easy reach of Maison Jervis is the walled medieval city of Vannes. Well worth a visit to see the many historic buildings or just a bit of retail therapy in the elegant shops!
If you wish to have a meal/barbecue prepared for you there is a locally based English chef who we can put you in touch with. He can also give cookery lessons either in the cottage or in his professionally set up kitchen nearby.
