We offer 7 self catering cottage set within the grounds of Le Vieux Monastere, a beautiful former monastery converted into seven cottages, set in open rolling countryside between the charming medieval town of St Jean d'Angely and the roman town of Saintes. Our cottages have been finished to a high standard and combine the rustic charm of an old building with modern facilities. The cottages share a large heated swimming pool and games room and has lots of outdoor space. The entire property is walled and gated, making it a safe and secure environment for children. Le Vieux Monastere has a very social feel, the layout creating a "village green" environment. This can be rented with other cottages to accommodate a larger group.
