Les Cerisiers is a beautifully converted stone built property in the heart of rural Brittany and opposite the ancient 14th century chapel of Saint Fiacre. It is situated in the peaceful village of Radenac and less than 5 minutes drive from the larger commune of Reguiny where there is a boulangerie, restaurant and bar. Also a small carp fishing lake. There is an indoor swimming pool and in the summer months the outdoor pool is open.
Les Cerisiers and the adjoining Les Hortensias are thought to have been built in the mid 19th century. The owner added a unique touch when he mounted a weather vane made by himself from an old copper hot water tank which depicts Saint Fiacre.
All rooms have exposed beams and are traditionally furnished in Breton style, including a grandfather clock.
WiFi is available throughout the accommodation. This spacious gite comfortably sleeps 8 people in 3 bedrooms. It has the advantage of a ground floor bedroom (Bedroom 3)and bathroom making it particularly suitable for guests with impaired mobility. The adjoining property, Les Hortensias, (with a locked interconnecting door) sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms (no children between 1- 10years). Therefore the two properties rented together provide accommodation for 14 people plus 2 babies. This makes the properties ideal for large groups.
Please be aware that if you rent one property the adjoining property may be occupied at the same time. Entrances are separate and the garden is designed to give dedicated space to the individual gites as well as having a large communal landscaped area. The pretty garden has been lovingly cared for by the owners with the hydrangeas in the summer months being a focal point of colour.
