L'Ecurie is a two bedroom (sleeping max 5) gite on three floors of our renovated barn. Bedroom one has beautiful views through a french window from the comfort of the super-king sized bed (perfect for morning coffee) and the large vaulted second bedroom (up another staricase) has three single beds. A travel cot can be provided if required. The vaulted bathroom with multi jet shower is on the first floor.
The light and airy living area with 2 sets of french windows comprises a fully equiped country kitchen, dining table and sofas also English satallite tv and wi fi all overlooking the Boules pitch. The gite also has its own huge decked terrace with garden furniture and a barbeque, which is covered by a gazebo to provide shade while you are eating.

Breil is a quiet farming village with its own Chateau which has beautiful gardens that open to the public.

The Patisserie is renowned as having one of the best bakers in the area and people travel for miles from the surrounding towns and villages to come to this shop in Breil. The village has a bus stop and is the location of the nearest payphone. (You will need to purchase a phone card to use payphones in France.)

Noyant: The nearest town to La Roultiere, Noyant is a farmers town, having a selection of shops and services, including an InterMarche supermarket, petrol station, pharmacy etc. Bustling Friday market with English booksellers too!
Bougueil: a gorgeous gentile town, with the vineyards of Bourgeuil and St. Nicholas de Bourgeuil giving it its history and distinct character. Marche de France on Tuesday morning and gourmet evening markets throughout the summer season. Historic abbey to visit and delightful street cafes. Hypermarket.
Le Lude: north of La Roultiere; a provincial chateau town with all services, cycling trails, the gently flowing Loire river, swimming pool with flumes and an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants. Weekly market.
