L'Ecurie is one of three gites at Guebernez, a beautiful two-acre site in rural Brittany. L'Ecurie is our newest addition and sleeps up to five people. It has a large, bright open-plan living room, kitchen and dining area with a beautifully restored fireplace and a wood burning fire. The living room has two large sofas and a television with English freeview channels and a DVD player. The modern kitchen has a dishwasher, electric oven with gas hob, microwave and fridge freezer. Upstairs there are two bedrooms - a spacious double bedroom with a king-size bed and a second bedroom with a double and a single bed, and room for a cot. The bathroom has a large shower and a heated towel rail. The gite has lovely views across the surrounding countryside and a terrace for outside dining. It is also insulated for winter lets. Longer winter lets available.
Guebernez has a solar-heated pool and a large sun terrace with stunning countryside views. Next to the pool is an indoor games room with a pool table, table tennis, fancy dress box, punch bag, and WII games. There is also a large lawn for football, French cricket, badminton or rounders. Little ones will love our Treasure Hunts and our various tractors and garden toys. We have a well-stocked library of books and DVDs and free Wi-Fi is available in and around the main house. Our well-established potager produces organic vegetables and flowers all year round and there is usually enough to share with guests. We have recently planted an orchard of apple, pear, peach and cherry trees and are creating a wild flower meadow. Our tranquil shady garden is the perfect place to curl up with a book, while our pentanque pitch takes advantage of the evening sun. We also have a large stone barn with beautiful oak beams that can be used for dinners or parties.
