The lounge is directly off the kitchen. The TV receives 'Freeview' satellite stations.
The bedroom has a king-sized bed and large wardrobe. The bathroom leads directly off the bedroom and is fitted with a modern shower unit (120 x 80 and double shower heads).
Garden & canal:-
Our 3-acre gardens border the beautiful Canal du Midi
The 3 acres of grounds have been laid out with various shrubberies which have the affect of creating separate private sitting areas.
The three magnificent horse chestnut trees, directly in front of the house, also provide wonderful shaded sitting areas. We have fitted uplighters in each of the chestnut trees. These, plus the uplighters on the front of the house itself, and the stylish lights along the entrance, create a very subtle and pleasant ambiance of an evening.
Away to the left in the garden is the pool and table tennis area.
Furthest away from the house is a larger area that can be used for pitching practice and racket games.
Then, of course, there is a gate leading directly on to the canal, providing easy access for a stroll or a cycle ride along the canal.
There are cycle paths from the house into the town of Bram, to get your early morning bread and croissants, it's a distance of 4km - rucksacks and padlocks provided!
