A beautifully appointed property nestling in a quiet hamlet in the hills above Urval. The village of Urval huddles around its large Romanesque church, behind which the original communal bread oven has been carefully preserved adding to the charm of a place steeped in an atmosphere of days gone by.
The property is set around a gravelled courtyard - the main house to the right and the guest cottage to the left. The very pretty gardens are mainly laid to lawn with a large selection of shrubs and rose bushes. The infinity pool, with its own covered eating area has views across to woodland.
The front door leads into a hallway laid with genuine pisé floor, to the right of which is a double bedroom with original fireplace and ensuite shower room. To the left of the hallway is a guest bathroom and next to this is an informal snug/sitting room with woodburning stove and comfy sofas. The farmhouse style kitchen also leads off the hallway with an exterior door leading out to the delightful covered eating area with views over the gardens. From the kitchen the main sitting/dining room may be accessed with high beamed ceilings, large fireplace with wood burning stove and terracotta floor tiling. The dining area also has a door leading outside to the covered dining area. Returning to the pisé hallway stairs lead up to two very large ensuite bedrooms with beautiful wooden flooring. Both bedrooms have views to the gardens.
Opposite the main house is a guest cottage for two people with double bedroom, shower room with WC, kitchen corner for making coffee and a small sitting room. The cottage is available for a supplementary (see below).
There is also a covered parking area large enough for three vehicles, a separate shower room with WC and a fully equipped laundry room.
