La Rose, two bedrooms at La Châtaigne Gites

Description

La Rose has a lovely double-height ceiling to the lounge which makes it feel light and bright. With a through lounge with feature exposed brick fireplace and beams, to a kitchen equipped with a fridge, gas cooker, microwave, dishwasher, and a table and chairs for dining. The staircase leads up to the 2 bedrooms and shower room via a mezzanine landing with beautiful crossbeams, looking down over the lounge. The bedrooms are arranged as one double and one twin, each with a velux window in the sloping ceiling with its original beams. The master bedroom also has the original pigeonniere turned into a feature window.
There are shared laundry and freezer facilities adjacent to the gite..
La Rose has outdoor furniture and bbq and pretty climbing roses and vines. Guests also have access to the 3/4 acre grounds including enclosed garden with play equipment and of course the gorgeous pool which also has a picnic area and a pool pavilion/bar area.
Stairgate, highchair, travel cots and booster seats are available on request. The whole site is enclosed and set well back from the rural road. The recreation and pool areas are also separately gated. Bikes can be hired from a third party, please contact the owner for details, and there is plenty to entertain the whole family on site.
