Dune du Pilat

Dordogne

The Miroir d'eau Bordeaux

Opposite the Place de la Bourse in Bordeux is the Moroir d'eau. A fantastic water feature, it includes cold misting sprays, energetically squirting fountains and a shallow expanse of water for children of all ages to cool down in. A must after a day's sightseeing in the historic town.

Chateau de Commarque

This spectacular fortified medieval ruin, occupying a hilltop near Eyzies-de-Tayac-Sireuil also features ancient caves, which date back more than 13,000 years. With a breathtaking views from the highest tower, it is easy to imagine the knights of old looking out over the land.
