Domaine de Trevallon

Located near St. Remy, Domaine de Trevallon produces some truly original wines. The vineyard consists of north-facing slopes meaning the owner chooses to grow different grapes here than most other Provence vineyards. Many of the wines here are award winners and the combination of the Provence soil and the non-traditional grapes produce striking flavours. Visitors are always assured of a warm welcome from this family-run operation.

Domaine Tempier

Owned by the same family since 1834, Domaine Tempier won its first gold medal for wine in 1885. Set over 38 hectares, the steep slopes of this vineyard continue to produce some excellent wines. The Bandol Red and the Cabassaou are particularly popular but the wines here are all of a high standard. The nearby town of Castellet is a scenic location for a detour and if you're staying in one of the gites in Provence in this part of the region, you'll be blown away by the spectacular scenery.

Mas de Gourgonnier

Situated near Les Baux, this family-owned vineyard has been producing organic wines for over 30 years. The owners combine traditional Provence grape varieties with Cabernet Sauvignon to produce their excellent red wines and use Sauvignon Blanc for their whites. The vineyard also produces wonderful olive oil, using a mixture of four traditional Provence olive varieties.

Domaine de Rimauresq

Situated in the beautiful Cote d'Azur, Domaine de Rimauresq produces a spectacular white wine using a mixture of Rolle and Ugni Blanc grapes. The estate also produces excellent red wines using a combination of traditional farming techniques and modern winery methods. One of the great Provence vineyards, Domaine de Rimauresq has a long history of producing great wines. Its location near Toulon makes it a convenient destination for those staying in or near the city.
