Chez Moseby is a one bedroom cottage set in extensive grounds and opposite the owners property in the tiny hamlet of Kerjeffredic. It is in the heart of rural Brittany and near to the medieval chateau town of Josselin.
Another gite in the grounds (sleeps 6) is also available for rental making the two properties ideal for family and friends holidaying together! The heated pool in the grounds is only available for guests at the cottage if they are included in a group booking with the larger gite.
The cottage has been recently refurbished to a very high standard. Inside the cottage on the ground floor is an open plan kitchen/diner/living area. There is also a fully tiled bathroom with large shower cubicle and toilet.
A washing machine is located in the outhouse next door to the cottage.
TV with English channels is available and Wi-Fi access
For winter lets there is a log burner and a starter pack of wood is provided.
the property is suitable for two adults and a baby. Upstairs is a large bedroom with a double bed. A cot is available.
Linen and towels are provided.
The cottage is not accessible for wheelchairs and not suitable for guests with mobility impairment.
Outside is a terraced area with table and chairs for al fresco dining or just relaxing in the peace and quiet. A barbecue is provided.
The beautifully landscaped grounds with wooded areas are perfect for exploring.
Dogs are not allowed.

The Local area
A short drive from Chez Moseby is Josselin, a French 'petite cite de caractere' situated on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal. It has a stunning chateau and is also home to the Puppet Museum. There are numerous restaurants. This bustling town has all you need for shopping and a very popular Saturday market. There are boulangeries, banks and pharmacies as well as two large supermarkets just on the outskirts of the town.
Malestroit is another charming Breton town on the banks of the Nantes-Brest canal. About 15 min drive from Chez Moseby.. Another popular market town in the area, this time held on Thursdays. Close to Malestroit is St Marcel where you can visit the Musee de la Resistance. A fascinating insight into WW2 history and the involvement of the French in helping their allies.
Rochefort en Terre - a must on your list of pretty towns to visit. Numerous eating places and shops abound in this Breton town.
Approximately 1 hours drive away the south coast has many lovely beaches, including Damgan, Carnac and La Trinite sur Mer. These all have numerous restaurants .
Vannes
Within easy reach of Chez Moseby is the walled medieval city of Vannes. Well worth a visit to see the many historic buildings or just a bit of retail therapy in the elegant shops!
