Gite Skippy sits within the beautiful Charente valley. The gite offers luxurious spacious accommodation there is a well equipped kitchen diner with stairs which lead up to the light airy lounge which has dual aspect windows which look out to the beautiful Charente valley and views over the pool, there are also patio doors which lead onto a small balcony providing further views over the country side. There is a flat screen TV providing all the English channels. From the kitchen there are double doors which lead on to your own private patio and another door which leads to a path where you can access the pool and spacious secluded gardens. From the kitchen you can access the ground floor double bedroom which has its own flat screen TV providing all the English channels, bedside cabinets, dressing table and drawers along with hanging space for clothes. From the bedroom there is a very modern luxury en-suite providing double rain & massage showers art deco washbasins & WC From the ensuite shower room you have access to the private indoor two person hot tub room and separate toilet, The hot tub room can also be accessed from the path which runs alongside the gite and the pool. The gite offers luxurious very quiet accommodation, perfect for a romantic getaway or just a relaxing break with easy access to commerce and all the tourist attractions this beautiful area has to offer. The gite can be rented out alongside our other gite - Gite Magic if you are a group of 4 wanting to holiday together but wish to have your own separate accommodation on the same site

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of spending time in the Skippy gite for 1 week whilst we were house hunting.
I have to say this was one of the most beautiful places that we have ever had the pleasure to stay in, the accommodation had absolutely everything we needed and more, the surroundings were spectacular and very peaceful and the hosts, David & Diana were amazing.
I would have no hesitation on giving them and the accommodation 10 out of 10, they have the most amazing gites, David & Diana have also helped us so much with our move to France, we can’t thank them enough, we feel like we have known them for years and will stay in touch with them forever.
Thank you both for making our first time in France so brilliant and for all of your help and support, we could not have asked for more, I know that you will be flooded with bookings once word get’s out and rightly so!

Policies
Due to the nature of our business, we can accept no responsibility for any loss, injury, death or damage, which might be incurred while staying on site at Gite Magic (Chez Goret).
The owner shall not be liable to the client; for any temporary defect or stoppage of public services to the property, nor in respect of any equipment, plant, machinery or appliance in the property, garden or swimming pool; for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes or other matters beyond the control of the owners; for any loss¸ damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the client if the property shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period and in any such event, the owner shall, within seven days of notification to the client, refund the client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
Limit of Liability
Under no circumstances shall the owner’s liability to the Client exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period
We have a no smoking policy and request that this be adhered to at all times
The pool will be available from Mid May
Under no circumstances can there be any other occupants at the gite only those stated on the booking form are allowed to stay at the property booked, our grounds are for booked guests only.
We, the owners reserve the right to enter the property at a convenient/reasonable time to carry out any repairs deemed necessary. Please let us know as soon as possible if you should find anything which is not working.
We ask for a non refundable 25% deposit of the full rental cost at the time of booking to confirm your stay with us. We allow a period of seven days for this payment to be received and cleared. The remainder of the balance will be due 60 days prior to the commencement of your holiday. Payment can be made by online banking or by bank transfer. We will provide our banking details at time of booking.
Reservations made within the 60 days of the start of your stay we will require the full balance at time of booking.
If the full balance is not received and cleared 60 days prior to the start of your holiday we will aim to contact you to request payment should this be unsuccessful and no payment received we have the right to cancel your booking and re-let the property.

*****Tourist Tax is applied at a rate of 2% of the per person per night price to a
