17th century longere situated in 2.240 square metres of gardens. We are in very easy reach of the Savage coast of north Brittany and the Gulf of Morbihan in the south. There are many places of historical interest in the area including the ancient city of Josselin with its stunning chateau and Rochefort en Terre is a must to visit. Morbihan is steeped in history and it is reputed that the legend of King Arthur the Knights of the Round Table came from Broceliande where Merlin's tomb can be seen.
The ancient cities of Rennes and Vannes are within an hours drive. Vannes has its own port and timber-framed buildings in the shopping centre. Dinan is also within the hour and has a super shopping centre with timber-framed buildings and there are the ramparts to keep invaders out. There is also a port at Dinan. There are many superb restaurants at Rennes, Vannes and Dinan.
The two main airports serving the area are at Dinard and Rennes, both within the hour from Le puits Maison.
The main supermarkets are at Merdrignac, Ploermel and Josselin where there is also a launderette.
We have a Border Collie called Sadie who is a rescue dog and is very timid but has a beautiful nature. She does not know what aggression is.
Roger and Sally are your hosts and will help and advise in any way we can. We have both lived in France for many years and know the area very well. Any problems or advice then just ask.
